About

Monica is a Cambodian lawyer at Amrin Law & Consultants Group, with 10 years of experience in human rights law, international criminal law (‘ICL’), fair trial rights, child protection, and anti-human trafficking. As head of LexCollective’s AMRIN programs, she advances legal awareness, judicial reform, and rights protection in Cambodia. She also supports reconciliation efforts at the ECCC and contributes to Cambodia’s ASEAN Law Association. Monica has worked as a case manager at the Khmer Rouge tribunal and served as a legal expert with the Legal Aid of Cambodia. She is also part of the Human Rights and International Relations team under the National Committee of Cambodia ASEAN Law Association. Previously, Monica served as the Country Director with Project Expedite Justice on its investigative work in South Sudan and Cambodia. Prior to that, she served as a paralegal at the Child Protection Unit, working for child protection and monitoring cases in court proceedings, and she has coordinated the Legal Impact Hub in Cambodia since 2020.
