Nicholas Opiyo is an energetic and driven senior leader with comprehensive accomplishments leading program management for gender identity, anti-corruption, pro-democracy, humanitarian relief, criminal prosecution, process improvement, and global cross-functional teams to achieve goals. Innovative thinker with international law, government, education, and NGO acumen. Nicholas has broad success in developing and executing plans in complex, fast-paced, volatile, high-risk environments. He frequently volunteers to lead a turnaround of failing organizations via decisive, fast improvements to people, processes, policy, and programs. Additionally, Nicholas has written articles in the NY Times and appeared on CNN and other major publications and media houses. Nicholas has been widely recognized and awarded for his human rights work by The German African Foundation, The Dutch Government, the European Parliament, the Board of Supervisors of the City of San Francisco, Human Rights Watch and other international organizations.
