MARIANNE GELY
Program Officer
Marianne Gely is a lawyer specialized in International Criminal Law. She has a LL.M in International and Transnational Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam. She has dedicated her studies and professional experiences to International Criminal Law with a particular focus on corporate responsibility for international crimes and human rights violations. She started her legal career as a legal intern for ECPAT Belgium, specialized in the fight against sexual exploitation of children and for Project Expedite Justice where she worked on business and human rights issues and transitional justice in Sudan. Additionally, she was part of the Business and Human Rights Law Clinic of the University of Amsterdam where she investigated and assessed the responsibility of companies for the commission of international crimes abroad.
